Deltec can assist Wealth Managers and Private Banks in other countries to
- form an “IBC” (Bahamas International Business Company).
- provide Directors and Officers.
- provide the registered office.
- act as “managing representative”.
- Deltec could open accounts for clients of the Wealth Manager or Private Bank and act as the custodian.
- Investment advice is given by the Wealth Manager or Private Bank to the “IBC”.
- The “IBC” then gives instructions to Deltec.
- Deltec executes the instructions.
The advantages of the above structure is
- There are no staff or premises expenses. Unlike similar operations to be established in Singapore or Hong Kong, it can be done rapidly, efficiently and for a fraction of the cost.
- There is no official direct link between the Wealth Manager main’s office (in country of origin) and the clients, ensuring absolute confidentiality.
